Within the scope of the Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Muş revolutionary campaigns, our Zap county forces carried out an operation against the occupying Turkish army.

Our forces following the increasing enemy movement in the surroundings of the Havan and Koordine hills in Hakkari's Çelê (Çukurca) district has targeted the sikorsy-type helicopter which came to the area on June 8, 21.30 for force change.

The helicopter was taken under fire on three arms of our forces, after which it crashed in the Martyr Cudi valley. Following this operation, the occupying Turkish army intervened in the area where the helicopter had fallen with the support of unmanned aerial vehicles, warplanes, cobra helicopters, and removed the helicopter wreckage and dead soldiers' bodies from the field.

According to information obtained, 14 soldiers were killed in this helicopter, two of them being pilots.

Following this operation, the occupying Turkish army which carried out exploratory flights over the Ertuş, Karker and Kokerê areas on the evening hours of June 9, bombed the areas with warplanes.
