TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-On 30 July at 16:30 hour, our guerrillas carried out two sepparate actions against the soldiers of the occupier forces of Turkish state army, who wanted to push our forces from the Straits of Nirkola and Masiro/Semdinli/Hakkari . The clashes here continued until 19:30 hour, and as a result, 15 enemy soldiers killed and 8 others wounded in the clashes of Strait of Nirkola. And, the number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clerified as a result of clashes occurred in the Strait of Masiro. Aftermath of the clashes, while the occupier Turkish state army bombarded the area, they took away their corpses of killed and wounded soldiers with sikorsky type helicopters. Also, occupier Turkish state army pulled one step back in the night hours.
2-Tens of war-planes belongs to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the Villages of Nirkola, Ranyapire; the Hills of Goste, Genistepe and Masiro; and the surrounding area of the River of Haci Beg/Semdinli/Hakkari, in between 30 July at 20:00 hour to 31 July at 04:00 hour. Again, the obus and mortar attacks also made in these areas. Also, the occupier Turkish state army closed the Road of Semdinli-Gerdiya to traffic since 29 July.
3-On 30 July in between 12:00-16:00 hours, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar bombardments on the Mnt. Govende/Gever/Hakkari.
4-On 30 July at around 11:30 hour, two sikorsky type helicopters attempted to fly from the district of Gever/Hakkari to the areas of Oramar and Sitaza faced resistance of our guerrillas and had to pull back. Aftermath of this, the sikorsky type helicopters made an attempt again under the support of cobra type helicopters and this then also repeled by our guerrillas.
5-On 30 July at around 23:00 hours, the roads of Oramar and Sitaza, in the district of Gever/Hakkari have been closed by our guerrillas. Our guerrillas also destroyed a bridge in between Oramar and Sitaza as well. Aftermath of the action, the occupier Turkish state army bombarded the area with obus and mortars.
