TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1-On 29 July at around 05:30 hour, enemy forces placed themselves on the Mnt. Guman. At 06:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action on these enemy soldiers on the Mnt. Guman. As a result of this action, 2 enemy soldiers killed and 1 other wounded . There has been intense clashes continued in between our guerrillas and enemy soldiers in this area, from 06:00 to 20:30 hours.

At 16:30 hour, our guerrillas hit and destroyed a sikorsky type helicopter, which wanted to pull out enemy soldiers from the area.

Again, two sikorsky type helicopters, which wanted to fly from Semdinli Brigade has been ressited by our guerrillas and as a result these two helicopters had pull out as well.

The occupier force of Turkish state army couldn’t be able to brake the resistance of our guerrillas all day alone and, as a result enemy carried out intense bombardments on the area with war-planes, obus and mortars. Later, the enemy forces attempted to pick-up and pull out with dozens of sikorsky type helicopters under the intense bombardments on the area, until night hours.

As a result of all day clashes a total of 49 enemy soldiers killed and many more wounded.

The area contiue to be under the control and sovereignity of our guerrillas.

2-The occupier forces of the Turkish state army periodically carried out bombardments with war-planes, obus and mortars, on the Hill of Gumoke, Goste, Genistepe, The River of Haci Beg and the Village of Nirukola, in between 29 July at 20:00 hour-30 July at 06:00 hours.

3-On 29 July in between 11:00-12:00 hours and 16:00-17:00 hours, our guerrillas carried out an action against the enemy’s Gare Regiment, in the district of Semdinli/Hakkari, with heavy weaponary. The number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clerified.

4-The occupier forces of the Turkish state army periodically carried out obus and mortar attacks on the Hill of Konserve, Karker and Genis, in the district of Semdinli/Hakkari, in between 29 July at 18:00 hour until morning hours of 30 July.

5-On 28 July at 15:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out actions with heavy weaponary on both Rubarok and Girana military stations, in the district of Semdinli/Hakkari. As a result of these actions, while the buildings of these military stations have been damaged, also a camalian and a hedhehog type military vehicles hit and damaged as well.

6-On 29 July at around 06:00 hour, clashes occurred in between our guerrillas and enemy soldiers from the Kirmizikopri military station/Pulumur/Dersim, who launched a military operation. As a result, 2 enemy soldiers killed, number of enemy soldiers wounded couldn’t be able to clerified. Aftermath of the clash, enemy forces opened rapid fire on the surroundering area with no aim, and also carried out bombardments with obus and mortar on the area.

7-On 24 July, a military helicopter which has been hit and damaged during the clashes in the district of Semdinli/Hakkari, has fallen and destroyed after a while later in the area in between the Villages of Samara and Beyganze
