TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1-On 31 July, the clashes continued until afternoon hours in the district of Semdinli/Hakkari, and as a result 3 in the upper Strait of Nirkola, a unit commander in the upper Gumoka, and a soldier in the Strait of Masiro, a total of 5 enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas. On the same day at around 11:00 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against enemy forces in the district of Semdinli, who wanted to intervene with cobra type helicopters, tanks and scorpian type armoured vehicles to the surrounding area of the Village of Navreza. As a result, 2 enemy soldiers killed. At 17:00 hour, while enemy forces attempted to intervene onco more and faced second action by our guerrillas and, as a result of thhis second action a hedgehog type military vehicle demolished and 2 enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas. The enemy units who wanted to march also have been hit by our guerrillas and as a result 5 enemy soldiers killed here.

Total of 14 enemy soldiers killed after the clashes continued all day. And, 1 of our guerrilla name Sahin Zap (Isa Tacidar) reached to martry after a brave resistance.

Enemy forces couldn’t be able to move forward as a result of resistance of our guerrillas and, took the 10 minutes road in 7 hours.

Also, in the morning hours of 1 August, the occupier forces of Turkish state army carried out bombardments against the area with cobra type helicopters, obus and mortars.

2-On 30 July at around 15:00 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against the enemy soldiers belongs to the occupier Turkish state army, who wanted to carry out a Road control in between the Villages of Riya and Salara/Semdinli/Hakkari. The number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clerified. Aftermath of the action, the area has been bombarded with obus and mortars by enemy. Also, enemy forces launched a military operation in the area by air-landing its forces and pulled back on 31 July.

3-On 31 July in between 15:00-16:00 hours, our guerrillas carried out an action against the Oramar military station/Gever/Hakkari, with heawy weaponary. As a result, 2 positions of enemy destroyed.

4-On 31 July at around 17:30 hour, a 20 minutes clash occurred in between our guerrillas and enemy forces launched a military operation in the region of Gire Cetan/Uludere/Sirnak. The number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clerified. Aftermath of the clash, enemy forces carried away their corpses of killed and wounded soldiers with sikorsky type helicopters.

5-The occupier Turkish state army have been carrying out bombardments on the area of Ciyares/Seladize/the Medya Defence Areas; Geliye Zap, the Mnt. Hene, the Hill of Helwesis, Samuray and the area of Buyuk Gare/Cukurca/Hakkari.   While the bombardments continues, a fire began in the area, which still continues.

6-On 31 July at around 11:00 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against a Head of a Village-guard and contra, Nesip Timur, who also played a role in martrying our guerrillas, in between the district of Beytussebap and the Village of Mezra/Sirnak. The action taken after a intelligence received by our guerrillas and, Nesim Timur and his accompanion Samil Timur have been wounded.
