TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

On 3 January, our guerrillas carried out an action against the Gire Cotyar military station from two wings, within the borders of Mnt. Gabar/Sirnak, belong to the occupier Turkish state army.

During the action, our guerrillas targeted the A4 position together with enemy soldiers in it. As a result, 3 enemy soldiers killed and 3 others wounded in this position by our guerrillas. Also, an A4 weapon here has been destroyed.

In mean time, our guerrillas also targeted the building of the Military station as well. And, as a result 9 enemy soldiers killed here by our guerrilals.

Aftermath of the action, while the occupier Turkish state army bombarded the nearby area of the military station with no aim, also intervened to the area with cobra type helicopters. Also, at around 17:10 hour, the war-planes belong to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the Villages of Qarne and Ere.
