TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-On 1 August at around 00:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out a road control in between the Villages of Sirtlan and Gurcubulak/Dogubeyazit/Agri. As a result of this action, 5 TIRs have been burnt together with their loads .
2-On 1 August at around 20:00 hour, clashes occurred in between our guerrillas and operational enemy soldiers nearby the Hill of Sanduk/Pulumur/Dersim. As a result of this clash, the operation have been expanded towards the Valley of Xarcik as well. Enemy operation still continues.
3-On 2 August at around 16:30 hour, the YJA-Star guerrillas carried out a sabotagaje action against a train from Mus-Elazig, in between the areas of Zengok and Karahamza. As a result of this action, 5 cars of the train have been destroyed.
4-On 2 August in between 19:00-20:30 hours, our guerrillas carried out a Road control nearby the Bridge of Nerguse, in between the districts of Gever and Semdinli/Hakkari. As a result, 50 vehicles have been stopped and, the I.D.s controled and the people have been informed about the latest developments. On 3 August, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army have launched a military operation on the area of road control action took place. Enemy operation still continues.
5-On 2 August at around 21:30 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against the enemy administrative of the district of Semdinli/Hakkari. As a result, 3 enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas.
6-In the afternoon hours of 2 August, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the Villages of Nergeh and Zere; the areas of Sehit Artes, The River Baze and Sehit Gafur/Oramar/Gever/Hakkari.
7-On 2 August in between 15:00-16:00 hours, our YJA-Star guerrillas carried an action against Oramar military station/Gever/Hakkari, with heawy weapons. As a result, 3 enemy positions have been destroyed. The number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clerified.
8-On 2 August in between 10:30-11:00 hours, our guerrillas carried out an action against an enemy military convoy in between the Villages of Muse and Kerkit, which left Rubarok military station and was going to the district of Semdinli.
On the same day, in between 13:00-14:00 hours, our guerrillas also carried another action to a second enemy military convoye, which came from the district of Semdinli and heading to the Rubarok military station.
On the same day in between 15:00-15:30 hours, our guerrillas carried out a third action against to another enemy military convoye, came out of Rubarok military station and was heading to the district of Semdinli.
As a result of all these three actions against enemy’s military convoyes, the number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clerified.
Aftermath of these actions, the occupier forces of Turkish state army carried out bombardments with tanks and panzers on the area of actions, with no aim. As a result of these bombardments, there is a fire began in the area, which still continues.
9-On 3 August in between 06:00-07:00 hours, our guerrillas carried out an action against a military convoye in the triangle of Begoza, Salara and Kerkit, which attempted to go from the district of Semdinli/Hakkari to the Rubarok military station. As a result, 3 enemy soldiers killed, 1 scorpian type armoured vehicle damaged and, 2 lorries loaded with ammunition destroyed after exploaded. The enemy military convoye couldn’t be able to move and stucked on the road. Aftermath of the action, the occupier forces of Turkish state army carried out bombardments on the surrounding area of the action for an hour, with cobra type helicopters, panzers and tanks. As a result of this bombardment, a fire begun in the area, which still continues.
10-On 10 August at around 19:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against enemy’s Kertmine military station, in the district of Midyat/Mardin. As a result, number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clerified.
11-On 2 August in between 19:30-20:00 hours, our guerrillas carried out a road blocage action in between the area of the district of Omerli and the city of Mardin. 50 vehicles stopped and the I.D.s controlled and, people have been informed about the latest developments. In the morning hours of 3 August, the occupier force of Turkish state army launched a military operation on the area of action, which still continues.
12-On 1 August, our guerrilla forces have nothing to the with the case of burning 5 work machines in a work yard belongs to Mehmet Emin Acar, nearby the Bespin/Silopi/Sirnak. This attack has been carried out by a contra unit belongs to the Turkish state army.
