1. Our guerrillas continue their actions in response to the invasion operation launched by the invading Turkish army in Heftanin region of Medya Defence Zones. The details of the actions carried out in the scope of the “Battle of Heftanin Revolutionary Offensive” as follows:
On July 8, at 15:00, our forces carried out an assassination action against the invaders at Martyr Cudi hill in the Şeşdara area. In this action, 1 enemy soldier was killed.
On July 9, at 14.15, our forces carried out an action targeting the invaders on Martyr Cudi hill in Şeşdara area. In this action where the enemy positions were effectively hit, 2 positions were completely destroyed while 8 soldiers were killed and 2 were injured. This action was organized in memory of our friends Goran, Viyan and Xabur who fell a martyr in the Xantur area on July 3.
On the same day, at 17.00, our forces carried out an assassination action against the invaders on the Tunel hill in the Şeşdara area. One enemy soldier was killed in this action.
In addition, the invading Turkish army bombed Pirbula village area with howitzer and mortar on the evening of 9 July. As a result of these bombardments, material damage occurred in the vineyards and gardens of the locals.
2. Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Capaign, on July 9, at 16.30, our forces carried out an action against the occupying Turkish army positioned on the Martyr Bager hill in Çelê (Çukurca) district of Colemêrg (Hakkari). The number of killed and injured enemy soldiers in this action could not be determined.
