Our mobile guerrillas are dealing heavy blows to the invaders by fighting with the Apoist spirit of sacrifice. As a result of the effective actions of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which displayed a historic resistance under the most difficult conditions; 10 invaders were punished, 3 invaders were injured and 1 armoured vehicle was damaged.
The invading Turkish army bombed the Resistance Areas with chemical weapons and explosives, 9 times with warplanes, 27 times with attack helicopters, and dozens of times with howitzers and heavy weapons.
The details of the actions are as follows;
1. Within the scope of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in the Zap region;
– On July 17, at 09:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were targeted and hit by our forces with individual weapons. In the action, 2 invaders were punished, 1 invader was injured and 1 armoured vehicle was hit and damaged.
– The Skorsky helicopter, which wanted to airdrop on the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area on July 17 at 22:30, came under intense fire by our forces. As a result of the hits, the helicopter had to leave the area without being able to land.
– On July 17, at 19:50, the invaders around the Şehîd Arjin battle positions were hit by our mobile YJA Star teams from two sides. As a result of this action carried out by the first and second action arms with heavy and individual weapons, 6 invaders were punished.
2. Within the scope of the Cenga Xabûre Şehîd Savaş Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
– On 17 July, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were hit twice with sabotage tactics. As a result of these actions, 1 invader was punished and 1 invader was injured. The bodies of the punished invaders remained under the control of our forces until night hours.
– On July 17, 19:10, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and hit. In this action, 1 invader was punished and 1 invader was injured.
3. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
– On 17 July, the battle positions in the Girê FM Resistance Area were bombed with chemical weapons and explosives.
4. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with helicopters, howitzers, heavy weapons and warplanes;
– On 17 July, drone activity took place over Girê Hakkarî, Girê Amediyê, Girê FM, Girê Cûdî and Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Areas.
– On 17 July, the Girê Bihar, Girê Amediyê, Sîda, Saca Resistance Areas and the Zap water area were bombed 9 times with warplanes.
– On 17 July, Werxelê, Kurojahro, Girê Hakkarî and Girê Amediyê Resistance Areas were bombed 27 times with attack helicopters.
– On 17 July, the Girê Hakkarî, Kela Çemço and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed dozens of times with howitzers and heavy weapons fired from the border outposts.
