The actions carried out by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla to greet the 18th anniversary of the 1 June Initiative continue. The invading Turkish state bombed the Resistance Areas hundreds of times with howitzers and mortars, 50 times with warplanes, and with chemical weapons, committing war crimes 17 times. Despite all the invasion attacks, 15 invaders were punished and 1 injured as a result of the actions of our forces.
The details of the actions carried out by our forces are as follows;
1. Within the scope of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in the Avaşîn region;
– On May 31, at 11:25 and 11:50, the invaders who attempted to advance towards the Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our forces with heavy weapons and assassination tactics. As a result of these actions, 2 invaders were punished and 1 invader was injured. As a result of the interventions, the invaders were withdrawn one stage.
2. Within the scope of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in the Zap region;
– On May 30, at 12:00, the invaders around the battle positions of the Kurojahro Resistance Area were targeted 3 times by our forces with heavy weapons and 1 position belonging to the invaders was destroyed.
– On May 31 and June 1, the invaders around the Şehîd Soran battle positions of the Karker Resistance Area were targeted by our YJA Star forces with an assassination tactic and 3 invaders were punished.
– At 12:30 on 31 May and at 03:30 on 1 June, the invaders around the battle positions of the Karker Resistance Area were shot by our forces with individual weapons and at least 3 invaders were punished. On the same day, the invaders on the move were hit with heavy weapons by our YJA Star forces in the morning.
– On May 31, between 17:20 – 01:00, the invaders, who were on the move around the battle positions of the Karker Resistance Area were targeted and hit 3 times by our YJA Star forces with sabotage tactics. As a result of these actions, 4 invaders were punished.
– On May 31, between 11:30 and 14:30, the invaders who wanted to bombard the battle positions and Şehîd Berxwedan battle positions in the Şehîd Şahin Resistance Area with explosives were shot 4 times by our forces. After the interventions, the invaders had to retreat one stage.
3. Within the scope of the Şehîd Maraş Revolutionary Campaign in the Zap region;
– At 18:00 on 30 May and at 11:00 on 31 May, the invaders who wanted to take position around the Şehîd Savuşka battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot by our forces with individual weapons and the 3 invaders were punished.
– On May 31, helicopters that attempted to airdrop around the Şehîd Leşker battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area came under intense fire by our forces. As a result of the intervention, the helicopters had to leave the area without being able to airdropping.
4. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
– On May 31, Şehîd Berxwedan, Şehîd Şahîn areas in the Zap region and Werxelê Resistance Area in Avaşîn were bombed 17 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
5. Attacks by the invading Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
– On May 31, the areas of Girê Cûdî, Girê Bihar, Girê Amediye, Martyr Şahin, Saca, Çiyareş, Şikefta Birîndara and Kurojahro in the Zap region were bombed by attack helicopters, howitzers fired from outposts on the border line and 37 times with warplanes.
– On May 31, the Werxelê Resistance Area was bombed with attack helicopters and 3 times with warplanes.
– On May 31, the Girê Hakkarî, Şehîd Akîf and Golka areas in the Metîna region were bombed dozens of times with mortars fired from outposts on the border line and 9 times with warplanes. At noon on the same day, the Serê Metîna area was bombed with howitzers and mortars fired from the Bamernê outpost of the invading Turkish state, located within the borders of Southern Kurdistan.
– On May 31, at 10:18, the village of Şikeftiyan in the Garê region was bombed with warplanes.
– On May 31, the Girê Şekîf slopes and Geliyê Lolan areas in the Xakurkê region were bombed with howitzers and mortars fired from the outposts on the border line.
