TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 6 August at around 23:30, our guerrillas carried an action against the policemen in front of the Government building of district of Hizan/Bitlis. This retaliation action carried out for rememberance of Dogan Teyboga, whome have been killed by the pilicemen on 26 July in the district of Silopi/Sirnak. As a result of this action, 2 policemen killed and 1 G3 weapon has been confiscated by our guerrillas.

2- On 6 August, our guerrillas carried out an action against the enemy forces, whome were pozitioned themselves in between the Hills of Xantepe and Sehit Avares/Cukurca/Hakkari. As a result of this action, while 5 enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas, also 1 panzer destroyed as well. During the action, our guerrillas also confiscated 1 thermal camera as well.

3- On 1 August, the Turkish state army launched military operation in the areas of Sevdin and Barav/Bingol. Operation extended by bringing reinforcement on 5 August. And, on 7 August operation pulled back with no result.

4- On 5 August in between 21:00-23:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the areas of Stune, Navcela, Dola Note and Dole Sehit Sores/Zagros/the Medya Defence Areas. As a result of this attack, the fire which began in the area, still continues.

5- A Contra Unit of 5 people, whome worn guerrilla clothings, carrying out reppresion on the people in the areas of Kirekor and Xapurke/Agri. Our people should be sensitive to this contra unit of five with gurrilla clothings.
