1. Within the scope of the Cenga Xabur Revolutionary Campaign, in the Metîna region;
– On August 16, at 12:00 and 17:30, the invaders in the Girê Kato area of the Zendura region were hit twice with heavy weapons. The targets set in both actions were hit effectively.
– On the morning of August 16, the invaders on the move in the Girê Azad Strait were hit by our forces with sabotage tactics. As a result of the action, at least 1 invader was punished.
2. Within the framework of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
– On August 16, at 23:30, 2 attack helicopters tried to bomb the Stûne area in Avaşîn were hit our forces. As a result of the hits, the helicopters had to move away from the area.
– On 16 August, 2 Kirpi-type armoured vehicles advancing towards Kendalokê village from Wargenima outpost in Gever district of Colemêrg were put under control by our forces. At 06:45, the Kirpi type armoured vehicle was hit with sabotage tactics. As a result of the action, 1 Kirpi-type vehicle was completely destroyed and 9 invaders were punished.
This successful action, carried out by our forces with professional guerrilla tactics, was carried out to avenge our esteemed patriot İbrahim Hesen from South Kurdistan, who was martyred by the invading Turkish state in the village of Deşîşê.
3. In Avaşîn and Zap Regions;
– On August 16, between 21:10 – 00:30, helicopter activity took place in the areas of Mervanos, Tabûra Ereba, Banista, Girê Sor, Girê Spî and Girê Silêman.
– In the morning hours of 16 August and at 08:30 on 17 August, the war tunnels in the Girê Sor area were bombed with heavy weapons and explosives.
– Chemical gases were used twice against the war tunnels in the Werxelê area between 10:00 – 15:30 on 16 August and at 06:00 on 17 August.
– On August 16, between 21:00 and 23:00, the war tunnels in the Werxelê area were bombed with attack helicopters and explosives. Intensive drone activity in the area continues.
– The fire in the area continues as a result of the invading Turkish army bombing the Stûnê area with howitzers and mortars from the outposts on the borderline.
– On August 16, between 21:15 and 23:00, the Tîpa T area of the Zap region was bombed with attack helicopters.
4. On August 12, between 21:00 and 00:00, the area around Banîkê village in the Heftanîn area was bombed with attack helicopters.
– On August 16, between 20:00 and 01:00, helicopter activity took place in the Qaşûra area, and the surrounding areas of Kêste and Hirore villages in the Kanî Masî sub-district of the Amediye district and Girê Zendura were bombed with attack helicopters and howitzers. As a result of the bombardment, material damage occurred in the vineyards and gardens of our civilian population.
– On August 16, between 13:50 and 13:55, the Kafya area in the Garê region was bombed twice by warplanes.
