TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 24 March 2011, at around 20:50 hours, our guerrillas carried out an action against the Police HQ in the district of Hani/Amed, which was a retaliation action because of the attacks carried out against People. As a result of the action, a fire started in the Police HQ and continued until late night hours. Following the action, the Turkish state army launched a military operation with also participation of armoured military vehicles. There was a short time clash occured in between our guerrillas and the operational enemy soldiers. The number of killed and wounded soldiers couldn't be clerified during this clash. The military operation, which launched after the action, still continues.

2- On 24 March 2011, at around 18:00 hours, our Sehit Xebat Baz Action Team carried an action aginst the police patrol vehicle in the district of Hasankeyf/Batman. This retaliation action taken against the attacks carried out on the people during the ceremonies of our martryed guerrillas. After initial fire, the policemen in the vehicle left the vehicle and run towards the city centre while shooting around with no aim. As a result of this police fire a civilian wounded. While our guerrillas couldn't be able to follow the policemen due to civilians in the area, they destroyed the police patrol vehicle.

3- On 24 March 2011, in between 10:00-12:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar shelling the areas of Dola Sive and Kani Tuye/Zap/ the Medya Defence Areas.
