TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1- In the early morning hours of 4 April, the ocupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation from four different sides in the surrounding area of the Bezoke military station in the district of Semdinli, Hakkari. On the same day, in between 09:15-10:35, clashes occurred in between our guerrilla forces and these operational forces of enemy. As a result, 1 lieutenant and 1 professional sergent, total of 2 soldiers killed and many more wounded. Aftermath of these clashes, more soldiers deployed to the area of operation with scorscy type helicopters under the support of cobra type helicopters to widen the operation.
On the same day, in between 12:00-17:00 hours, cobra type helicopters belongs to the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the area of where the clashes occurred earlier and the Hill of Ronahi. Again, the occupier Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the areas of Hope and Merge, the Valley of Zete, the Hill of Ronahi and the area where the clashes occurred earlier on the day, from 14:00 hours to the late night hours. The military operation in the area still continues.
2- On 5 April, in between 06:00-07:30 hours, the occupier force of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the areas of Dola Xanima and the Triangle of Avasin-Avabasya; the Villages of Mamreso, Arisfaris, Erdewe, Ergus, Mawata, Bene, Stune, Kiye Delil and Mervanus.
3- On 5 April at around 03:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against the oil pipe lines in between the districts of Cizre and Idil/Sirnak. As a result of this action, while a fire was continuing a great damage occurred on the oil pipe lines.
4- The occupier Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the Villages of Kinyanis, Ertus, Erbis and Hilale; the areas of Qela Ertus and Sehit Newal; and the Hill of Sehit Zeki/Zap/the Medya Defence Areas, from 13:00 hour of 4 April to the afternoon hours of 5 April.
