TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1- On 3 August at around 21.30, our guerrillas carried a sabotage action against the Botas petrol pipe lines in between the Villages of Kertmine and Erbo/Midyat/Mardin.
2- On 1 August, our guerrillas carried an action against a military panzer, which was controlling the road and checking I.D.'s of the travellers, in between the Bablesine Military Station in the Valley of Guzeldere and the Village of Cuxe/Baskale/Van. As a result of this action, 8 enemy soldiers killed and 1 other wounded. Aftermath of the action, while our guerrillas were pulling back there were two other different clashes occurred, and as a result of both these clashes Head Official of the district of Baskale, Bilgihan Bayar, his deputy and 3 other enemy soldiers wounded as well. Aftermath of the action, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the areas of Mnt. Mengene, Mnt. Mave and Meydane/Mnt. Spirez. The military operation in the area still continues.
