1. The resistance of our forces against the invasion operation launched by the invading Turkish army in the Heftanin region continues. The details of the actions carried out by our guerrilla forces within the scope of the “Battle of Heftanin Campaign” are as follow:
On July 11, at 04.00, the invading Turkish army tried to make the advance to Kartal and Martyr Birhat hills in the Bektorya area. Our forces kept a close watch on the enemy troops and carried out a series of actions against the invaders. In these actions, 7 soldiers were punished and many soldiers were injured.
In the morning of the same day, our forces carried out a series of sabotage actions against the invaders on the Martyrs Birhat and Kartal areas. Targeting enemy soldiers were effectively hit 3 times, 16 soldiers were punished and 5 were injured.
In the clashed and air attacks, our comrades Evin and Bahoz martyred in Martyr Birhat and Kartal hill areas.
On July 12, at 06:00, our forces carried out an action targeting the enemy troops from 3 sides while they were trying to make the advance to the Dola Beraza and Indirme hill in Xantur area. 3 soldiers were punished in this action. The enemy troops that withdrew from the area were targeted by our forces for the second time. As a result of effective hits, 5 enemy soldiers were punished.
2. The invading Turkish army launched an invasion operation on 2 July in the village of Axula village in the Gürpınar district of Van. Clashes took place between the invading Turkish army and our forces. Our comrades Welat, Kendal, Azad, who fought heroically against the enemy in these conflicts martyred.
