TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 24 April in between 22:00-23:00 hours, the war planes belongs to the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out air-raids on the areas of Surede, the Hillsides of Kortek and the Hill of Sehit Rustem/Qandil/the Medya Defence Areas.

2- On 24 April in between 22:20-23:20 hours, the war planes belongs to the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out air-raids on the area of Golka/Metina/the Medya Defence Areas.

3- On 24 April in between 22:30-23:30 hours, the war planes belongs to the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out air-raids on the Village of Bermize and the Hill of Siro/Xakurke/the Medya Defence Areas. As a result of these air-raids, villagers' grape-yard and gardens have been damaged.

4- On 24 April at 05:00 hour, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation against the Strains of Bilican, the Plateus of Talisa and the area of Sehit Karwan, in order to take the Hill of Guvenlik, on the border line, Cukurca/Hakkari. On the same day, at 14:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out 2 smiltanous action against the operational forces of the enemy. One of the actions was carried out against a military conwoy made of 2 Tanks and military vehicles, in the Plateaus of Talise and the second action was carried out nearby the Hill of Sehit Karwan. As a reult of this two smiltanous actions against the enemy, 1 reo type military vehicle was set on fire and, yet the number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn't be clerified.

Aftermath of the actions, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the areas of the actions.

While time to time the clashes continued until night hours, the cobra type helicopters also air-bombarded the areas at 19:00 hour.

After all, the enemy forces couldn't be able take the Hill of Guvenlik as a result of our guerrilas' resistance, and retreted.

5- For a while now, a contra unit made of 30 people with guerrilla wear, where also there are women in it, asking from our people for a lojistical support. Our people should be sensitive and be aware of thse contra units.

6- On 24 April at around 06:00 hour, our guerrillas have had burnt a vehicle, as a final warning, belongs to the a work yard, which builds military stations and roads, and working with enemy, in the area in between the Villages of Rize and Girana/Semdinli/Hakkari. These work-yard have been warned before not to work with enemy.

Aftermath of the action, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the surrounding area of the work-yard.  

7- On 23 April in between 10:00-11:00 hours, our guerrillas carried out an action against enemy soldiers, whome positioned themselves on the Hill of Cete, on the borderline, in the district of Uludere/Sirnak. As a result, 1 enemy soldier killed and 2 others wounded by our guerrillas.
