TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-On 16 May, our guerrillas carried out an action against the Hill of the Korxe military station, in the district of Lice/Amed. As a result, 1 enemy soldier killed and 4 others wounded by our guerrillas.
2-Since 14 May, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army have been periodically carrying out obus and mortar attacks on the areas of Ertus and Cilo/Cukurca/Hakkari, within the Media Defence Areas
3-On 16 May at around 17:00 hour, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation by air-landing its troops on the Valley of Xarcik and, the Hillsides of Tavnesi and Dokuzkaya, in the district of Pulumur/Dersim. The operation still continues.
4-On 16 May at around 21:00 hour, our guerrillas raided the the work yard, which is a workshop of a dam, in the district of Dargecit/Mardin. The work has been stopped, and the workers have been informed on how these dams damages our environment in Kurdistan. And, asked not to work in such works anymore.
