TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1- On 11 August at 09:30 hour, our guerrillas carried out mortar attack against the Turkish state army's Xantepe military base/Cele, in retaliation of canon attacks carried by the Turkish state army against the Medya Defence Areas. As a result, three mortar rocket hit the target on the Hill, yet we couldn't clerify the number of looses of enemy.
2- On 11 August at 19:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against the enemy soldiers positioned on the security Hill of the Gemane military station/Semdinli/Hakkari. As a result of this action, 1 enemy soldier killed by our guerrillas.
3- On 9 August at 11:30 hour, our guerrillas hit a scorscy type military helicopter, while carrying lojistics and military personal from Oramar to the district of Gever/Hakkari. As a result, the damaged military helicopter flew away from the area.
4- On 8 August, the colonist Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area of Yukari Ovacik/Dersim. The military operation, which cover the areas of Karadere, Buyukkoy, Cakmakli, Emirganderesi, the Hillsides of Bingec and Balikan Brook/Yukari Ovacik still continues.
5- On 11 August in between 10:00-12:00 hours, the colonist Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the areas of Ertus and Kucuk Cilo/Zap/the Medya Defence Areas.
