TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 12 April in between 19:00-21:30 hours, our guerrillas carried a Road Blocage action in between the Villages of Degirmendere and Kula/in between the district of Kagizman-Kars and Erzurum. Aproximately 25 vehicles stopped and I.D. control carried after propaganda made.

In the early morning hours of 13 April, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army intervened to the area of the action after air-landed its soldiers on the Hillsides of Degirmendere and its Valleys, and placed its hidden units in the surrounding areas.

On the same day at around 09:00 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against the enemy forces which came for intervene to the action. As a result, many numbers of enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas. In mean time, the occupier forces of the Turkish army air-landed its soldiers on many Hills and Valleys in the area with scorscy type helicopters, until 14:00 hour. Then began a operation. During these air-landings of enemy soldiers by helicopters, one of the helicopter have been hit and damaged by our guerrillas. The helicopter flew away after damaged. Again, at around 14:00 hour on the same day, the cobra type helicopters came to the area and carried bombardments with no aim.

While the military operation pulled back in the evening hours of 14 April, the hiddens units left in the area, specially in the Valley of Kula and its Hillsides, carrying out search and ambushes. More details about the incident will be share it with public later.

2- On 14 April in between 11:00-12:00 hours, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the Village of Delil and surrounding area of Kani Ga/Zagros/the Medya Defence Areas.

3- On 15 April in between 04:00-09:00 hours, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the Villages of Erdeve and Kiye; and, the Valley of Konferans/Zagros/the Medya Defence Areas.

4- On 14 April in between 07:00-19:00 hours, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army continously carried out obus and mortar attacks for 12 hours on the Hills of Erbis, Ertus Castle, Guvenlik, Sehit Avares, Sehid Newal and Sehit Cihat; the strait of Ceko; the Villages of Hilale, Sifreza, Cennete and Erbis/Zap/the Medya Defence Areas.
