TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 29 April, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the

surrounding area of the River of Tigris; the villages of Hebizbina, Emboleke and Elodino, in between the districts of Dargecit/Mardin and Gercus/Batman. The operation in the area still continues with searc and ambushes by the hidden enemy units.

2- On 2 May at around 20:30 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against the enemy soldiers on the Hill of Cete, in the area of Deriye Dawetiye, in the district of Uludere/Sirnak. As a result, 2 enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas. Aftermath of the action, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attack on the surrounding area of Deriye Dawetiye and the Village of Kuranis, until late night hours.

3- A contra unit worn guerrilla clothing have been going around in the surrounding areas of the Villages of Lerdi, Gidana and Zeviye Sor/Bitlis, since 28 April. This contra unit making propaganda to our people on behalf of our guerrillas and their activities continues in the above mentioned areas. Our people should be sensitive against to these kind of contra units.

4- On 22 April, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the surrounding areas of Straits of Sene, the Hill of American, the Valley of Workers and the Village of Herdi, in the area of Sex Cuma/Bitlis. The operation pulled back on the same day.
