Within the scope of the Revolutionary Victory Campaign launched in the Serhat province, on April 4, at 10.20, our forces carried out an action against a military vehicle of the occupying Turkish army on the Tujik battalion road between Iğdır’s Aralık district and Ağrı’s Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) district.
One Cemse-type armoured vehicle in this convoy where all the vehicles were put under fire in close range was destroyed, while one Cobra-type armoured vehicle and Amarok-type vehicle received heavy blows. 8 enemy soldiers were identified killed in this action.
After the action, two Cobra-type armoured vehicles which came to the action area for intervention were also targeted by our forces. In this action where both of the armoured vehicles were damaged, our forces also carried out an assassination action against one soldier using the A4 heavy weapon mounted on a Cobra-type armoured vehicle.
A total of nine enemy soldiers were killed as a result of these actions, while many enemy soldiers were wounded. Following these actions, the occupying Turkish army carried away dead and wounded soldiers from the area with many armoured vehicles.
