1. The Turkish army launched an operation in the region of Mount Cudi in Şırnak countryside on May 31. The operation is continuing and further details will be announced once available.
2. Within the scope of the Martyr Mawa and Martyr Rizgar Gever Revenge Campaign, our guerrillas carried out a sabotage action against the Turkish army on May 28. The action targeted construction equipment involved in the construction of security road in the area of Hill Xwişk û Bira in Cudi region. While the construction equipment was completely destroyed, the number of soldiers killed or wounded here couldn’t be clarified.
3. The occupant Turkish army bombed the area of Gundê Hetutê in Zap region of Medya Defense Zones on the morning of May 30.
Said Celal Nureddin and his son Ahmed Said Celal, who were in their field, lost their lives as a result of the bombardment. The two men were deliberately killed by the Turkish army forces who knew that they were indeed civilians.
This occupant mindset which has repeatedly massacred civilians has targeted our people in this region several times and killed dozens of them. It is the main duty of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla to call those responsible for these massacres to account. It should be known that our murdered people will be avenged.
We send our condolences to the families of the slain civilians and the people of Kurdistan.
