The invading Turkish army carried out extensive attacks on Medya Defence Zones. The details of the intense attacks, which were foiled as a result of the measures taken by our forces, are as follows;
– On April 14, at 16:00, the village of Kamûran in the Çemankê sub-district of Duhok was bombed with warplanes. On the same day, between 14:30 and 21:00, Girê FM in the Zap region and the surrounding of Sergelê village and Girê Hakkari in Metîna were bombed 8 times by warplanes and howitzers fired from outposts on the border line.
– On April 15, between 10:00 and 00:00, Girê Cudî, Girê Amediyê, Girê FM and Girê Hakkari of the Zap region were bombed 9 times by warplanes and howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line.
– On April 15, between 18:50 and 21:40, the Werxelê area in the Avaşîn region and the Girê Hell, Kunîşka, Kurojahro, Martyr Şahin, Karker, Şikefta Birîndara, Saca, Çemço and Sîda areas in the Zap region were bombed 28 times with warplanes.
– On April 16, between 20:40 and 02:30, Girê Cudi in the Zap region was bombed 3 times by warplanes and howitzers fired from the police stations on the border line. Martyr Şahin, Girê Hell, Dola Şîvê, Karker, Kurojahro and Sîda areas were bombed 27 times with warplanes between 17:00 and 21:30 on the same day.
– On April 16, at 15:30, the Girê Martyr Şerif area in the Xakûrkê region was bombed twice with warplanes.
– Between 16 and 17 April, the Werxelê area of Avaşîn region was bombed with howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line.
