Within the scope of the Martyr Agirî and Martyr Pîroz Revolutionary Campaign, on May 8 around 13.30, our forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army positioned on the Elî Dirêj zone in the Lêlîkan area of Southern Kurdistan.
The number of dead and wounded soldiers in this action where the enemy’s positions were put under intense fire could not be determined. Following the action invading forces bombed the area with howitzer and mortar shells.
