TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1-On 23 May, our guerrillas carried out an action against a Jendarmerie officer, in the district of Varto/Mus, in retaliation against the military operations carried out in the last period. As a result, the Jendarmerie Officer has been killed by our guerrillas. Aftermath of the action, on 24 May, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the surrounding areas of the Villages of Leylek, Rekasa and Piznik/Varto/Mus. While the military operation continues, there are clashes time to time and according to the some informations that 3 of our guerrillas have been martryd. We will be giving clear and detail information about this military operation in the coming days.

2-On 25 May, the hidden units belongs to the occupier forces of the Turkishs state army carried out ambushes in the surrounding areas of the Villages of Merbabe and Marine, in the district of Nusaybin, Mardin. The enemy hidden units still continues to carry out ambushes in the areas above mentioned.
