TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1- We already have had publisized about the military operation launched on 28 June by the Turkish state army in tha areas of Kutudere, the Hillsides of Kozmerik, Kirmizidag, the Triangle of Roj and the Point of Tank/Dersim. Within the frame of this military operation, on 28 June at around 20:00 hour, a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and the operational forces of the Turkish state army on the Hill of Kozmerik/Dersim.
As a result of this clash, 2 enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas and we couldn't be able to clerify the number of wounded enemy soldiers. Aftermath of this clash, the Cobra type attack helicopters belongs to the Turkish state army continuesly bombarded the area for 3 hours. The military operation in the area continues.
2- On 29 June at around 21:00 hour, the Turkish state army launched a military operation against the Straits of Deman and Serkeftin/Dersim Central.
3- On 29 June, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area of Bozanak/Alibogazi/Dersim.
4- On 23 June, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the rural areas of Varto/Mus. Within the frame of this operation, the Turkish state army carried raids against many villages in the area and soldiers threatened the villagers. The military operation pulled back on 25 June, with no result.
