TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 9 May at around 17:00 hours, our guerrillas carried an action against a military convoy coming from Central City of Sirnak and going for a operation. During action, 2 of the transit minibus have been targeted by our guerrillas and as a result one of the minibus have been flipped over. We couldn't be able to clerify the number of killed and wounded soldiers of the enemy as a result of this action. Aftermath of the action, our guerrillas carried out second action against the enemy forces who were securing the road and wanted reinforce the convoy. As a result of this action 1 enemy soldier killed. Afterwords of these both actions by our guerrillas, the Turkish state army carrried obus and mortar attack on the area of action.

2- On 6 May, the Turkish state army launched a comprehensive military operation in the areas of Kirmizidag, Uzuntarla, Hotmeri and Derheci/Dersim. As a part of the operation, the Turkish state army have had placed Thermal Cameras and Lazers on the Hill sides of the Gamemis and some other different places. On 7 May at around 07:30 hours, the Scorsci type helicopters air-landed enemy soldiers on the Hills of Serkeftin and Sahin under the support of Cobra type attack helicopters, and also placed panzers on the Hillsides. As a part of operation, Cobra type attack helicopters bombarded the places used by the guerrillas before. In the same day at around 13:30 hours, one of the wing of the enemy have been hit by our guerrillas. As a result of this action by our guerrillas, while 2 of the enemy soldiers killed, there has been clashes began in two different areas and continued until night hours. On 7 May at around 19:00 hours, the Turkish state army pull back its forces and, reinforced and exchanged them with new forces. The operation still continues with hidden units' search and ambushes in the area.
