TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1- The Turkish state army have been carrying out obus and mortar attack on the areas of Be, Belate, Sere Seve and Gire Dahole/Cukurca/Hakkari, since 24 August. The bombardment on the area still continues. Also, the commandoes of the Turkish state army carrying out ambushes in the area. 2- On 24 August at around 17:30 hour, our guerrillas hit a scorscy type helicopter while flying on the area of Geliye Saxe/Catak/Van. The scorscy type helicopter flew awat towards central Catak after damaged by our guerrillas. We couldn't be able to clerified the numbers of killed and wounded soldiers in the damaged helicopter.
3- On 21 August, our guerrillas stopped a vehicle, which was carrying lojistic to the military stations of Besosin and Tilor/Cukurca/Hakkari. The vehicle and lojistic have been destroyed and 3 people have been arrested by our guerrillas. Aftermath of the action, the Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the area in between 16:00-17:00 hours.
