On October 7, the occupying Turkish army launched an operation against the Martyr Dilan, Martyr Hemze and Kela Dêrweşê areas in the Gabar mountain of Şırnak, with the support of cobra-type helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Within the scope of the Martyr Serdem and Martyr Nudem revolutionary campaign, a sabotage action was carried out against the occupying forces trying to position on the Martyr Dilan hill in the morning of January 8. Two enemy soldiers have been identified killed in the action.
Withdrawing from the hill after the action, the occupying forces carried away their dead and wounded from the area with sikorsy-type helicopters. The operation launched in the area on January 10 has been withdrawn without any results.
