TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 3 July, our guerrillas carried an action by targeting a military vehicle while on the move in between the area of the Hill of Sehit Haki and Suveren Army station in the district of Genc/Bingol. As a result of this action carried out by our guerrillas 1 captain, 1 corporal, total of 3 soldiers killed. Our guerrillas confiscated 2 cross-bred weapons and 1 binoculars with lazer belongs to the enemy. Aftermath of this action, enemy forces launched a military operation with also involvement of cobra attack helicopters, Yet, operation pulled back with no result.

This action carried out by our guerrillas is a retaliation action for memory of HATICE IDIN and for the Turkish state army and state security forces' brutal attacks, torture and initiation of genocide against our people.

2- We receive informations that some contras have been pioneering for the operations of the Turkish state army in the area of Alibogazi/Dersim. While these operation are continuing under the support of intense bombardment of the cobra type attack helicopters, the operation in the areas of Malaxwede, Zengirek, Tasgirek, G3/Dersim continues with search and ambushes and expanding towards the areas of Bozanlar and Pilavkurlu/Dersim.
