TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1- On 23 August, our guerrillas carried an action against the enemy soldiers who were returning from road check in between the military stations of Tine and Kalende/in between the district of Ergani and the Mnt. of Maden/Amed. As a result of this action, Reo type military vehicle contains 15 enemy soldiers have been destroyed together with soldiers. Also, many numbers of enemy soldiers killed and wounded by our guerrillas, yet the number couldn't be clerified. the reports of the enemy press as saying 1 killed and 4 wounded do not reflects the reality.
2- On 23 August at around 13:00 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against a 4 soldiers whome were preparing posistions of the Bave miltary station/Genc/Bingol. As a result of this action, the number of killed and wounded soldiers couldn't be able to clerified.
3- On 22 August at around 22:00 hours, our guerrillas carried out an action against the AKP'S policeman, whome terrorising the people of Cizre/Sirnak. As a result, 11 AKP's policeman wounded, including 2 of them heavily wounded by our guerrillas. Aftermath of this action, all policeman in the district of central Cizre retretad to the police stations.
4- On 22 August, the Cobra type of military helicopters belongs to the colonist Turkish state army carried bombardments on the areas of Navekara, Spindarok, the Konferansa/Mnt. Cudi/Silopi/Sirnak. As aresult, a fire began in these areas which still continues.
5- On 23 August in between 08:00-16:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the areas of Deresis, Mergesis, Geliye Pisaxa, the Hill sides of Xantur, Gire Partizan, Gire Neriya, the Valley of Betalma, Gire Sipan, Gire Pake, Sehit Kemal, the Strait of Eris and the area of Sehit Adar/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas. As a result of these attacks, fires began in these areas which still continues.
6- On 23 August in between 22:00-24:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the areas of Gire Neriya, Sehit Kemal and Sehit Renas/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas.
7- On 22 August, 3 vehicles belongs to the GSM company in the district of Tatvan/Bitlis have been burnt by our guerrillas and 5 workers have been taken under custody by the guerrilla forces. After questioning of this 5 workers by our guerrilla forces, the public will be informed.
