TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- We have had already announced public about a destructive military operation launched against our guerrillas in the areas of Bileh, Binevs, Derzengile and Geliye Lewina/Hakkari, on 6th of September, 2010. The Turkish state army launched a military operation, which carried out by the Central Commandment of the Turkish state army under the Coordination of Commander of the Land Forces, Erdal Ceylanoglu , without a knowledge of army stations in the region of the operations took place. The operation began on the 6th of September in the areas of Geliye Lewina, Nebirnava, Golhesena, Ciyareske, Bileh, Binevs, Gundik, Derzengile and Baleka, which covered the hole area in between the provinces of Hakkari and Van. Ten Thousand enemy forces participated to the military operation and in 3 different areas clashes occurred in between our guerrillas and the enemy forces. As a result of these clashes, while 6 enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas, 9 of our guerrillas also wounded. We also clerified that during these three separate clashes, our guerrillas confiscated a weapon and 2 bags belongs to enemy soldiers, and one of the name of enemy soldier killed during this clashes is Bayram Gultekin. As the Turkish state army couldn't be able to get a result from the attack that they carried out against our guerrillas, they retreated and left the bodies of the killed soldiers on the ground. Afterwards, they intensively began a bombardmant of the area of our guerrillas with 4 cobra type attack helicopters as well as a war-plane. The clashes lasted until the night hours of the same day of the operation, and as a result 9 of our guerrillas, despite they were wounded, reached to their testimony with a heroic resistance.

2- On 9th of September, 2010, in between 20:30-23:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried a obus and mortar attack on the Hill and Valley of Betalme, the village of Haftanin and the area of Deriye Dawetiye/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas.

3- On 9th of September, 2010, in between 21:00-24:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried a obus and mortar attack on the area of Alanis/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas.

4- On 10th of September, 2010, in between 00:00-01:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried a obus and mortar attack on the Hill of Partizan/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas.

5- On 6th of September, 2010, the Turkish state army launched a military operation on the areas of Serafettin, Piseke and Kure Sincik/Karliova/Bingol. The village-guards of the villages of Sogukhan and Cirik also participated to the operation. Operation still continues as an ambushes.

6- On 5th of September, 2010, a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and the operational forces of the enemy in the surrounding area of the village of Ebubekira/Garisa/Siirt. As a result of this clash, one of our guerrilla named Rizgar Zagros (Mahmut Kadiri) reached to martry after a brave resistance, yet, the number of dead and wounded of enemy soldiers couldn't be clerified. While the Turkish state army widen the area of operation, also air-landed its forces in the area of incident and bombarded the area of clash with cobra type attack helicopters on the morning hours of 6th of September.
