On September 29th 2011 our valued comrade Ahmet, a member of the Martyr Zilan Battalion, carried out an action in the Antalya region of Turkey. This action was carried out primarily against the isolation of our Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the genocide imposed on our people and movement. Our beloved comrade Ahmet was martyred in the action and continued the trail set by Martyr Zilan. The colonialist Turkish state has tried to cover up and overshadow this action.
The force and decisiveness of the action has terrified them and they have chosen not to comprehend the message that has been given. We have only recently received the details of the incident; this is why there has been a delay in sharing it with public opinion.

Comrade Ahmet was born in 1981 in the Lice province of Amed. Although he grew up in a patriotic environment he became better acquainted with our movement in the big cities of Turkey. The indignation of comrade Ahmet against the oppression and tyranny our people were subjected to was always great; however in 1999 he joined the youth organization and witnessed it more closely and firsthand. In the year 2000 comrade Ahmet decided to join the resistance against the annihilation of our people and came to the Free Mountains of Kurdistan.
The longing comrade Ahmet had for the guerilla movement meant that he took great strides early on in strengthening and educating himself. Comrade Ahmet integrated his inquisitive nature, rooted intellectual capacity and concentration level with the guerilla struggle and continued his labours.
One of the fundamental methods comrade Ahmet used was to analyse and solve the destruction and distortions caused by the enemy on society and the individual and create the new human personality in line with the Manifesto of our Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
We commemorate all the great martyrs of the revolution in the person of comrade Ahmet, who carried out this action to protect and develop the values created by the honourable struggle of the people of Kurdistan. We promise that we will continue the struggle in his memory and will reply the attacks of the enemy in the best possible way.
