1- On 21st December, the Turkish state army launched military operation in the areas of Yekmale, Merge, the villages of Roboski and the Hill of Awul/Uludere. Operation continues with ambushes by the army units placed hidden in the area.
2- At 09:00 hours in the morning of 23rd December, the Turkish state army carried out intensive bombardment with Cobra type helicopters on the border line of Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas. The Turkish state army also carried soldiers with Scorscy type helicopters to placed them on the Hills Gire sivan, Serbend, Vacip, Deri Davetiye, Kure Cela, Maymun and Sinek.
