TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 25 May at around 17:00 hours, the Turkish state army launched a military operation on the area of Hozavit, Sehit Bagok, Hebun, the Hill of Karmas, Sehit Yildiz, Sehit Hozan and the Valley of Pir in between the districts of Yayladere and Kigi/Bingol.

On 26 May at around 05:30 hours, the Turkish state army began the operetion by air-landing its forces with Scorscy type helicopters and also brought more soldiers with military vehicles to the above mentioned areas. The operation in the area still continues with ambushes.

2- On 26 May in between 19:00-20:00 hours, a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and the operational soldiers of enemy in between Dasura and Dara/in between the districts of Cukurca/Hakkari. As a result of this clash, 4 of enemy soldiers killed and 1 panzer have been damaged by our guerrillas. Aftermath of the clash, enemy removed the killed and wounded soldiers from the area with 3 ambulances. The operation pulled back on night hours of the same day with no result.

3- On 27 May in between 08:30-09:30 hours, the Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack and as well as used marble type bombs, which is vioalation of the international rules of the conflict, on the areas of Mahir Mirzo and Xeregol, the Villages of Hore, Resme, Zere and Sifreza/Zap/the Medya Defence Areas.

4- On 28 May in between 00:00-02:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the Gire Betalma and the Village of Haftanin/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas.

5- On 26 May in between 17:00-18:00 hours, the Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the areas of Ertus, Petrot, the Hills of Sehit Cihat and Sehit Zeki/Zap/the Medya Defence Areas.

6- The Turkish state army carried obus and mortar attack on the Hills of Sehit Sexmus and Sehit Kemal/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas, from 26 may 23:00 hour to 27 May 01:00 hour.
