The colonialist and genocidal Turkey, together with all the fascist cliques from its state apparatus, launched an extermination attack on our people and our movement exactly seven years ago. Despite abundantly used special war methods, the Turkish state has not succeeded in achieving its chosen goal until today.
Inspired by the unique and historic resistance of Leader Ocalan on Imrali, the Freedom Guerrilla of Kurdistan put up great resistance with the spirit of Apoist sacrifice and became the hope of the oppressed peoples all over the country. The unique guerrilla struggle, which is the hope of Leader Apo and our people, has destroyed all the plans of the fascist regime that wants to bring us to our knees. In the eighth year of this annihilationist attack, the guerrillas will continue their resistance even more resolutely and march to victory with full dedication.
Our mobile teams in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area downed 1 Skorsky helicopter belonging to the invaders on the night of July 24 and punished the invaders inside. Our forces delivered another meaningful message by dealing a very effective blow to the invaders.
Unable to break the resistance of our forces, the war criminal Turkish army bombed the war positions in the Resistance Zones 9 times with warplanes, 22 times with attack helicopters and dozens of times with mortars.
The details of the actions are as follows;
1. Within the scope of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in the Zap region;
– On July 24, a Skorsky helicopter that wanted to land on the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area was shot down by our forces at close range. This helicopter, which caught fire and wanted to get away, crashed in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area.
– On July 24, our mobile guerrilla units responded to the invaders in the Kokerê Resistance Area with individual weapons and hand grenades. Intense clashes took place here for half an hour between our forces and the invaders. The invaders who could not advance had to retreat one stage.
– At 00:15 on July 24, the attack helicopter that wanted to bombard the Karker Resistance Area was targeted and put under fire. After the effective hits of our forces, the helicopter had to leave the area.
2. Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Şehîd Savai Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
– At 11:25 and 14:50 on July 24, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were hit twice by our mobile teams with sabotage tactics.
3. Attacks by the invading Turkish army with mortars, helicopters and warplanes;
– On July 24, drone activity was observed in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area.
– On 23 and 24 July, the Girê Free area in Garê and the Saca, Sîda and Çemço Resistance Areas were bombed 9 times with warplanes.
– On July 24, the Şikefta Birindara Resistance Area was bombarded with mortars dozens of times.
– On July 24, Kokerê, Çemço, Girê Karker, Girê FM and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed 22 times with attack helicopters.
