Press Release

On August 13, our compatriot İbrahim Hesen, 50 years old and father of 6 children, working in his own garden in Deşîşê village of Kanî Masî sub-district of Amediye district.

He was martyred in an attack carried out by the invading Turkish army. First of all, we would like to express our condolences to the people of Deşîşê, who showed a stance of patriotism by refusing to leave their land, and to the family of İbrahim Hesen, who was brutally martyred.

The Turkish army, which could not overcome the resistance of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, could not move forward despite mobilizing all of its recourses and could not avoid taking heavy blows every day, is recklessly attacking innocent Kurdish people. The genocidal Turkish regime, which has made it a tradition to murder the civilian and innocent Kurdish people and tries to normalize it by trying to make it clear, is deliberately bombing residential areas and slaughtering our people, especially in areas where guerrilla resistance continues. It intends to further the invasion plans by sending Kurdish people away from these regions. However, our patriotic people of Southern Kurdistan refuse to succumb to all of the enemy's policies, refusing to leave their homeland and rendering the genocidal Turkish state's killings null and worthless.

We declare firmly that the invading Turkish state will be held accountable for these massacres.
