Our forces carried out effective actions by targeting the invaders in Avaşîn, Zap and Xakurke. As a result of these actions; 13 invaders were punished, 1 invader was injured, 1 position was destroyed and 1 drone was damaged.

The details of the actions taken are as follows;

1. In Avaşîn region;

– On May 8, at 13:45 and 15:20, the invaders around the battle positions in the Werxelê Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons by our forces. The invaders, who were targeted again at 14:40 on the same day, were with an assassination tactic. As a result of these actions carried out by our forces, 3 invaders were punished and 1 invader was injured.

2. In the Zap region;

– On May 8, at 10:00, the invaders in the Kurojahro Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons by our forces. On the same day, at 15:00, a position belonging to the invaders in Girê Şehîd Şemdîn in the Kurojahro Resistance Area was hit by our YJA Star forces. As a result of this action, the targeted position was completely destroyed and 6 invaders were punished.

– On May 8, at 14:30, the invaders around the battle positions in Girê Şehîd Harûn in the Kurojahro Resistance Area were hit in both arms by our forces with a coordinated guerrilla action. First action arm; destroyed the position in which the invaders were located by hitting them at close range and punished the 3 invaders. Second arm of action; targeted the invaders with the assassination tactic and punished 1 invader. At the same time, 1 drone on the area was hit by our forces. The drone had to move away from the area. As a result of this action carried out by our forces, at least 4 invaders were punished and 1 drone was hit.

– On May 8, between 22:00 and 22:30, attack helicopters attepted to bombard the war positions in the Şehîd Şahin Resistance Area were targeted by our forces. As a result of the effective hits, attack helicopters had to move away from the area. At the same time, attack helicopters that attempted to bombard the Girê Rûbar battle positions had to leave the area as a result of the intervention of our forces.

3. In the Xakurke region;

– On May 6, at 16:20, the invaders in Girê Martyr Derwêş were targeted with heavy weapons by our YJA Star forces. Enemy targets have been hit successfully.

4. The bombardments of the invading Turkish army against the Medya Defence Zones continue.

The details of the attacks are as follows:

– On May 8, the people of the region the slopes of Şekîf Mountain in the Xakurkê region were bombarded with howitzers and mortars by the Turkish state. As a result of the shelling, one person from the local population was injured. The artillery attacks continued today.

– On May 8, the Çemço area of ​​the Zap region was bombed with howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line. Girê Amediye, Girê Cûdî, Karker, Saca and Kurojahro areas were bombed 11 times with warplanes. On the same day, between 22:00 and 00:30, Çiyareş, Girê Cûdî, Girê Rûbar, Girê Şehîd Dunya, Girê Şehîd Şemdîn, Girê Şehîd Harun and Girê Şehîd Xelîl were bombed with attack helicopters.

– On 7 and 8 May, the Werxelê Resistance Area in Avaşîn region was bombed with attack helicopters and warplanes.

– On May 8, at 15:00, Girê Hakkarî in the Metîna region was bombed by warplanes.
