The actions of our guerrilla forces against the invasion operation of the invading Turkish army continue uninterruptedly. The invading Turkish army bombed the Resistance Areas 30 times with chemical weapons, 29 times with warplanes and dozens of times with howitzers.
As a result of the effective actions of our forces; 15 invaders were punished, 8 invaders were injured and 1 attack helicopter was hit.
The details of the actions taken are as follows;
1. In Avaşîn region;
– On May 15, the invading Turkish army attempted to advance towards the battle positions after bombing the Werxelê Resistance Area 8 times with chemical weapons and explosives. At 12:25, the invaders around the battle positions were targeted by our forces and hit with sabotage tactics and individual weapons. As a result of this action, 1 invader was punished.
– On May 15, at 13:30 and 15:55, the invaders around the Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons by our forces and at least 2 invaders were injured.
The invaders, who could not advance as a result of the actions carried out by our forces, again heavily bombarded the Werxelê Resistance Area with chemical weapons, warplanes, attack helicopters and howitzers fired from the outposts on the borderline.
– On May 16, at 06:30, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons by our forces. As a result of the intervention of our forces, the invaders retreated one stage.
2. In the Zap region;
– On the morning of May 15, the invading Turkish army attepted advance at 10:30 after bombarding the Girê Cehennem battle positions of the Çiyareş Resistance Area with warplanes, attack helicopters, howitzers and 3 times with chemical weapons. The invaders around the battle positions were taken put control by our forces and hit at close range with individual weapons. 5 invaders were punished in this action. The invaders in the area were also targeted by our mobile guerrilla units at the same time. 4 invaders were punished and 4 invaders were seriously injured in this action. The invaders who wanted to advance again at 19:00 on the same day were targeted twice by our YJA Star forces with sabotage tactics. As a result of these actions, at least 3 invaders were punished.
As a result of this series of effective actions 12 invaders were punished and 4 invaders were seriously injured.
– On May 15, at 14:30 and 16:30, the invaders around the Kevirêkun battle positions in the Şikefta Birindara Resistance Area were targeted and shot down by our forces. As a result of these actions, 1 invader was punished and 2 invaders were injured.
– At 15:0 on May 15, the invading Turkish army wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Şehîd Şahin Resistance Area. As a result of the intervention of our forces with heavy weapons, the invaders could not advance and had to retreat one stage.
– Two attack helicopters that wanted to bomb the Çemço area at night on May 15 put under intense fire by our forces. As a result of the effective intervention of our forces, 1 attack helicopter was damaged and the helicopters left the area.
– On May 15, the Girê Şehîd Hewre battle positions of the Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area were bombed 19 times with chemical weapons and explosives by the invading Turkish army.
3. In the Metîna region;
– On May 15, at 10:10, the Kanî Masî outpost of the invading Turkish army, located within the borders of Bashure Kurdistan, was targeted with heavy weapons by our forces and the determined targets were hit effectively. On the same day, at 16:30, the invaders were targeted with an assassination tactic and as a result of this action, 1 invader was punished.
4. The invading Turkish army bombed the Medya Defence Zones dozens of times with warplanes, attack helicopters and howitzers.
The details of the attacks are as follows:
– On May 15, the areas of Sîda, Çiyareş, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Şikefta Birîndara, Karker, Şehîd Şahin, Girê Amediye, Girê Ortê and Kurojahro in the Zap region were bombed by attack helicopters, howitzers fired from outposts on the border line and 29 times with warplanes.
– On May 15, Girê Hakkarî in the Metîna region was bombed by warplanes and howitzers fired from outposts on the border line.
– On May 15, the Girê Şekîf slopes of the Xakurkê region were bombed with howitzers and mortars fired from the outposts on the border line.
