Our mobile guerrillas carried out effective actions against the invading Turkish army. These successful actions, in which rich guerrilla tactics were applied and put into practice with great success, were carried out in memory of the immortal May Month Martyrs of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle.
As a result of the effective actions of our forces, 24 invaders were punished, 3 invaders were injured, 3 positions, 1 A4 gun, 1 BKC, 2 military tents, 1 drone, 1 surveillance camera system were destroyed, 2 positions and 2 1 surveillance camera system were damaged, 13 meters Kortex and 10 kg of TNT confiscated.
The details of the actions taken are as follows;
1. In Avaşîn region;
– On May 16, at 18:00, the invaders attempted to bombard the Werxelê Resistance Area with heavy weapons were targeted and shot by our forces. The invaders who wanted to advance in the evening hours of the same day were hit again by our forces. As a result of the intervention of our forces, the invaders had to retreat one stage.
– On 16 May After being taken under control by our forces, the invaders around the Girê Werxelê battle positions in the Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted by our mobile guerrilla teams with an infiltration action at 11:45 am. With the first shots of our forces, the invaders left their positions and fled. 1 1 surveillance camera system of the invaders here was destroyed by our forces.
– A group of invaders, who bombarded the Werxelê Resistance Area with chemical weapons and explosives, at 13:45 on 16 May, were targeted from two sides by our forces in a coordinated guerrilla action. First action arm; A4 aimed a A4 gun and its position and hit it at close range. As a result of the effective hits, 2 invaders were punished, 1 position and 1 A4 weapon were destroyed. Second arm of action; targeted three positions and a 1 surveillance camera system at close range. Here, 1 invader was punished, 1 BKC weapon and 1 position were destroyed, 2 positions and 1 surveillance camera system were hit.
– In the evening of 16 May, the invaders around the Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted and shot twice by our forces with heavy weapons. The number of occupiers punished and injured as a result of these actions could not be clarified.
2. In the Zap region;
– On May 15, at 12:00, the invaders around the war positions around Girê Şehîd Cûdî in the Karker Resistance Area were shot by our forces and 1 invader was punished.
– On May 15, at 10:20 and 11:30 hours, the invaders tried to advance towards the Kelê battle positions in the Kurojahro Resistance Area were hit by our forces with sabotage tactics. The number of occupiers punished and injured as a result of these actions could not be clarified.
– On May 16, at 10:30, the invaders located between the Şehîd Harun and Şehîd Tolhildan hills of the Kurojahro Resistance Area were followed by our forces. The invaders, who were put under control, were hit from three sides with a coordinated guerrilla action at 10:30. First action arm; targeted a group of invaders and shot them at close range. Here, 4 invaders were punished and 2 invaders were injured. The second action arm is; It targeted the position in which the 2 invaders were located. Here, 1 invader was punished and 1 invader was injured. Third arm of action; targeted the invaders who fled and leaving their positions with an assassination tactic and punished 1 invader. Also, the invaders in the vicinity and wanted to intervene in the action area were targeted and shot with heavy weapons by our YJA Star forces.
In this action carried out by our mobile guerrilla teams using different guerrilla tactics, a total of 6 invaders were punished and 3 invaders were injured.
– On May 16, at 16:00, two positions belonging to the invaders around the Mamreş battle positions in the Kurojahro Resistance Area were targeted and hit by our mobile guerrilla teams. As a result of the effective hits of our forces, 3 invaders were punished, 1 position was destroyed and 1 position was damaged.
– In the morning hours of May 16, the invaders who wanted to bombard the battle positions in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area with explosives were shot by our forces. As a result of the intervention of our forces, the invaders fled, leaving the explosives they had brought with them. Here, 13 m Kortex (detonator) and 10 kg TNT belonging to the invaders were seized by our forces.
– On May 16, at 09:30, the invaders around the Girê Ortê battle positions in the Karker Resistance Area were targeted and shot from two sides by our mobile guerrilla teams. First action arm; targeted two tents belonging to the invaders and hit them effectively at close range. Second arm of action; targeted and effectively struck a group of invaders. On the same day, at 14:30, a bomb-laden drone belonging to the invaders was shot down and destroyed by our forces.
As a result of this coordinated action carried out by our mobile guerrilla teams, the total; 5 invaders were punished, 2 military tents and a bomb-laden drone were destroyed.
These effective actions, carried out by our Zap forces with the spirit of self-sacrificing attack, were carried out in memory of our Martyrs of May in the person of our Immortal Commander, Comrade Haki Karer.
– On May 16, at 19:00, 22:00 and 23:00, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Girê Cehennem battle positions of the Çiyareş Resistance Area were targeted and shot 3 times by our forces. As a result of the intervention of our forces, the invaders had to retreat one stage.
– On May 16, the invaders who wanted to bombard the battle positions in the Şehîd Şahin Resistance Area with chemical weapons and explosives were targeted and shot by our forces with heavy weapons. As a result of this action, the invaders had to retreat one stage.
3. In the Xakurke region;
– On May 16, at 13:00, the invaders in Girê Şehîd Axîn were targeted and shot with heavy weapons by our YJA Star forces. As a result of this action, 2 invaders were punished.
4. On May 10, the Sîre outpost of the invading Turkish army, located within the borders of Bashure Kurdistan, was targeted and hit by our forces with heavy weapons. As a result of this action, at least 4 invaders were punished.
5. The invading Turkish army bombed the Medya Defece Zones dozens of times with warplanes, attack helicopters and howitzers.
The details of the attacks are as follows:
– On May 15, at 22:30, Girê Hakkarî in the Metîna region was bombed twice by warplanes. At the same time, the Koordine area and the surroundings of Deşîşê, Seraro and Êdinê villages were bombed with howitzers and mortars fired from the outposts on the border line.
– On May 16, at 18:06, Girê Hefttebax in Garê was bombed by warplanes.
– On 16 May, Gundê Fileha, Girê Cûdî and Girê FM areas of Zap were bombed 13 times with warplanes.
– On the morning of 17 May, the Karker, Saca and Çemço areas of Zap were bombed by howitzers, mortars and warplanes 7 times dropped from the outposts on the border line.
