The resistance against the Turkish invasion in the Medya Defence Zones is being continued with great determination by the guerrillas in the tunnel facilities and in mobile units.
In the actions carried out by our forces in memory of the Heroes of Zendura; 17 invaders were punished, 4 invaders were injured, 3 surveillance cameras and 1 radar system were destroyed. The invading Turkish army bombed the war tunnels 37 times with explosives and 24 times with chemical weapons and poisonous gases. Resistance areas were bombed 25 times with warplanes, 20 times with attack helicopters, and also with howitzers fired from border posts.
The details of the actions taken are as follows;
1. In Avaşîn region;
– On June 8, at 01:00, the surveillance cameras and radar system YJA Star placed in the Werxelê Resistance Area by the invaders were targeted by our mobile teams. In this action, 2 surveillance cameras and 1 radar system were destroyed.
– On June 8, at 15:35, the invaders in the Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted and shot with heavy weapons. In this action, 4 invaders were punished.
2. In the Metina region;
– On June 6, the invaders in Girê Hakkari Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our mobile teams with individual and medium automatic weapons. In this action, 4 invaders were punished.
– On June 7, at 12:05, the invaders in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were targeted and hit with medium automatic weapons. While 1 invader was punished in this action, 2 invaders were injured.
– On June 8, at 18:45, the invaders in the Girê Hakkari Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons. While 5 invaders were punished in this action, 2 invaders were injured.
– On June 8, at 15:55, 1 surveillance cameras in the Girê FM Resistance Area were targeted and destroyed with an assassination tactic.
3. In the Zap region;
– On June 8, at 07:00, the invaders who wanted to take position in the Karker Resistance Area were targeted with an assassination tactic by our YJA Star forces. In this action, 1 invader was punished.
– On June 8, at 14:20 and 17:00, the invaders in the Girê Şehîd Şahîn Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons. The invaders, who were hit, had to retreat one stage.
– On June 9, at 00:00 and 02:15, the invaders who wanted to take position themselves in the Karker Resistance Area were targeted by our YJA Star forces with an assassination tactic. In these actions, 2 invaders were punished.
4. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
– On 7 and 8 June, the invading Turkish army used chemical wepons against Şehîd Akîf war tunnels in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area.
– On 8 June, the Şehîd Hejar and Şehîd Akîf war tunnels in Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area were bombed 9 times with explosives.
– On June 8, at 17:30, Werxelê war tunnels were bombed with chemical gasses.
– From 08:00 to 18:00 on 8 June, the Şehîd Hewrê war tunnels in the Şehîd Şahin Resistance Area were bombed 26 times with explosives and 18 times with chemical weapons.
– On 8 June, the war tunnels in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were bombed once with explosives.
5. Attacks by the invading Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
– On June 7, at 18:20, the area around the village of Gûzê in the Garê region was bombed once with warplanes.
– On 7 June, the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area was bombed with howitzers fired from the border outposts.
– On 8 June, the Ava Lolanê and Girê Şêhîd Heqî areas in the Xakurke region were bombed with howitzers.
– On 8 and 9 June, Gire Hakkari, Gire Cûdî, Girê FM, Çiyareş, Karker, Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were bombed 20 times with attack helicopters.
– Werxelê, Çiyareş, Şikefta Birîndara, Çemço and Girê Bahar areas were bombed 24 times with warplanes on 8 and 9 June.
