The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, as the defender of the Kurdish people and the Kurdistan geography, continues its line of resistance focused on victory under all circumstances, with the Apoist self-sacrificing spirit. The occupiers' calculation has failed once again.
Our forces are putting up incomparable resistance in the Medya Defence Zones and have carried out effective actions to make the operation launched by the Turkish colonial state with thousands of soldiers and massive weapon technology come to nothing. As a result of the actions carried out by our forces; 16 invaders were punished, 5 invaders were injured and 1 attack helicopter was damaged.
The details of the actions taken are as follows;
1. In the Amed region;
– On 3 June, the invaders in the Taver outpost in Lîce targeted them with an assassination tactic by our forces. In this action, 1 invader was punished.
– On May 23, the invaders in the Bilbilik outpost in Lîce were targeted by our forces with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
– The invading Turkish army launched an invasion operation in the Şehîd Serhed area of Amed's Lice district on 1 June. This operation was withdrawn inconclusively on 3 June.
2. In Avaşîn region;
– On June 7, at 12:30, the invading Turkish army bombed the war tunnels in the Werxelê Resistance Area with explosives. At 12:40, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the war tunnels were hit with hand grenades, individual and heavy weapons. The invaders who wanted to attack with explosives at 13:20 on the same day were targeted by our forces. As a result of the effective hits, the explosives brought by the invaders exploded. As a result of the explosion, 2 invaders were punished. At 14:15, the invaders around the war tunnels were targeted and hit again with heavy weapons.
In these actions carried out by our forces, at least 4 invaders were punished.
3. In the Metîna region;
– On June 7, at 17:30, the invaders around the Şehîd Savuşka war tunnels in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and hitt from three sides by our semi-mobile teams. The first and second actions arms effectively hit the invaders at close range, punishing the 5 invaders. A group of invaders who wanted to intervene in the action area were targeted and shot by the third action arm.
As a result of this coordinated attack carried out by our semi-mobile guerrilla teams; at least 7 invaders were punished and 4 invaders were injured.
– On June 7, at 22:30, helicopters over the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area put under intense fire by our forces. As a result of the effective hits, 1 attack helicopter was heavily hit and had to leave the area.
4. In the Zap region;
– On June 7, 12:20 and 15:00 hours, the invaders who tried to approach the war tunnels in the Şehîd Şahin Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons.
– Between 12:30 and 15:00 on 7 June, the invading Turkish army wanted to advance at 15:10 after heavily bombarding the Şehîd Hewrê war tunnels in the Şehîd Şahin Resistance Area. These invaders were targeted and shot with hand grenades and individual weapons, and 1 invader was injured. After the intervention, the invaders retreated one stage.
– On 7 June, the invaders who wanted to bombard the war tunnels in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were targeted and hit by our forces. After the intervention of our forces, the invaders had to retreat one stage.
– On June 7, between 02:50 and 04:30, the invaders around the Karker Resistance Area were targeted and shot three times by our YJA Star forces with the assassination tactic. In these actions, 3 invaders were punished. On the same day, at 01:30, a military type sensor placed around the war tunnels by the invaders was destroyed by our forces.
5. The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives;
– On 7 June, the war tunnels of Şikefta Birîndara and Şehîd Hewre in the Zap region were bombed 19 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
– On June 7, the Werxelê Resistance Area was bombed 9 times with chemical weapons and explosives.
6. Attacks by the invading Turkish army with howitzers, attack helicopters and warplanes;
– On 7 June, attack helicopters in the Zap region, Çemço, Kurojahro, Çiyareş, Karker, Şîkefta Birîndara, Şehîd Şahin, Şehîd Harûn, Şehîd Tolhildan, Girê Rûbar, Karker, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, and Girê Ortê areas, howitzer fired from the border outposts and it was bombed 38 times by warplanes.
– On 7 June, the battle positions in the Werxelê Resistance Area of Avaşîn were bombed with howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line and 7 times with warplanes.
– On 7 June, the area around the village of Qesrokê and the Serê Metîna area were bombed with howitzers fired from the Kanî Masî and Bamernê outposts within the borders of Bashure Kurdistan. On the same day, the area around the village of Bazê was bombed with warplanes.
