TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1- On 8th of August, 2010, at around 18:30 hours, our guerrillas carried a road blocage action on the 20th km of the district of Ovacik-Dersim. As a result of this road blokage action, approximately 100 vehicles have been stopped and about 500 people gathered together by our guerrillas to evaluate the latest political developments, and also the I.D. control also been made. During the propaganda, crowd of the people shouted a slogan of "Long Live the Leader Apo". The action went on until the night hours, and after the action both the army stations of Zagge and Albori, have bombarded the area of action, with obus and mortars.
2- Since the 8th of August, 2010, cobra type attack helicopters belongs to the turkish state army bombarding the areas of Living, Bilveng, Albori and Akrasor in Munzur Valley/Dersim. As a result of these bombardment a fire began in the areas of Living, Bilveng, Albori and Akrasor, where the fire is still continues.
3- On 8th of August, 2010, at around 16:00 hours, the cobra type attack helicopters, which are belongs to the Turkish state army, bombarded the areas of Gola, Seyyida and Dumanli/Cemce/Kagizman/Kars.
4- On 8th of August, 2010, in between 21:00-23:00 hours, the Turkish state army bombarded the areas of Sehit Beritan, Karker Bogazi, the Hill of Koordine and the area of Kebra Zahir/Xakurke/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars.
5- On 7th of August, 2010, at around 23:00 hours, the Sehit Xebat Action Team carried a road blocade action in between the districts of Nusaybin and Midyat/Mardin, against a three trucks carrying construction materials for the Xirbe army station in Nusaybin. As a result of the action carried out, the trucks burned and drivers have been warned by guerrilla. Following this, on 8th of August, at around 09:00 hours, an action carried out against enemy forces, who came to the area of action carried out the day before. As a result of this action, 3 professional sergent killed and 1 soldier wounded by our guerrilla. Afterwards of the action, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area. The operation still continues.
