TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 8 May, our guerrillas carried out an action against operational forces of the occupier forces of the Turkish state army, whome lunched a military operation in the areas of Kato Kavale and Peyanus/Central Hakkari. The action carried out on the night hours of the same day at around 20:00 hour, in the area of Gire Memendoka and Sulehe/Kato Kavale. As a result, 4 professional sergent killed and 3 soldiers wounded by our guerrillas. While enemy taken away their killed and wounded soldiers by 2 scorscy type helicopters, the cobra type helicopters bombarded the area. On 9 May, the operation pulled back with no result.

2- On 8 May, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the areas of Mount Zel and its Hillsides; the areas of Rojnik and Mosirvan/Central Dersim. On 9 May at 12:00, our guerrillas carried an action against the operational forces of the enemy, in the area of Mosirvan. As a result, 2 enemy soldiers killed and 2 others wounded by our guerrillas, and killed and wounded enemy soldiers taken away by scorscy type helicopters. Aftermath of the action, the enemy forces carried out bombardments on the area with cobra type helicopters. The military operation still continues in the area by the hidden enemy units carrying out search and ambushes. Also, enemy's deployment of soldiers to the military stations in the region.
