TO PRESS AND PUBLIC

1-On 18 May, our guerrillas carried out a road control in between the Village of Sex Cuma/Bitlis and Bitlis. Our guerrillas stopped 15 vehicles and checed the I.D.s. And, as a result 6 village-guards have been arrested on claims of involvements in different type of offences. Questioning of them still continues and public will be informed on the issue once its completed.

2-On 17 May at around 19:30 hours, our guerrillas carried out an action against the road building work yard, which building an alternative road after the road which will be under the water after the Ilisu Dam Project ends. The alternative road have began on the line of Guclukonak-Bilicuna-Eruh, and where our guerrillas destroyed 8 vehicles working on building the road.

Our actions against all kind of building Dam and Roads, which destroys nature and history of Kurdistan, and as well as serving for military puposes aiming to destroy our guerrillas.

3-On 17 May, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation on the border line district of Uludere/Sirnak. There has been intense clashes in these areas in between our guerrillas and enemy soldiers, since 17 May. We will be inform the public in detail later about the military operation, where intense military technology used.

4-On 18 May at around 16:30 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against enemy’s the 49 Military station, in the district of Cukurca/Hakkari. As a result 2 enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas.

5-On 18 May in between 17:00-18:00 hours, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the area of Ciyaye Res, Deraluk, within the borders of the Medya Defence Areas.

6-On 18 May in between 13:30-17:30 hours, the war-planes of the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried air-bombardments on the areas of Kucuk Gare, Cilo, Castle of Ertus; the Hill of Guvenlik; and, the villages of Erbis, Ertus and Petrot/Cele.

7-The occupier forces of the Turkish state army deployed soldiers, ammunition and military hardware with 150 military vehicles to the Brigade Commandment and the Bilican Regiment in the district of Cukurca,Hakkari, since 17 May.

8-On 14 May at around 24:00 hour, a clash occurred in between a group of our guerrillas, who went for a duty, and the operational forces of the enemy, where also village-guards also participated to the operation, neraby the District of Hizan/Bitlis. As a result of these clashes, one of our guerrilla name Cekdar Zilan have been wounded. The clashes continued until the morning hours of 15 May, where also 2 soldiers killed and 2 village-guards wounded. Our wounded guerrilla Cekdar have resisted against enemy until last bullet and morning hours of 15 May, where the enemy saw that they can not get any result of clashes, they used intense air-bombardments with cobra helicopters.
