TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 28 August at around 06:30 hour, our guerillas carried an action against a military convoy in between the Villages of Tirenus and Derbane/Hakkari, which was heading to the Bezele Military Station. As a result of this action, 3 enemy soldiers killed and 5 others wounded by our guerrillas. Also, a military vehicle destroyed. Aftermath of the action, while enemy convoy pulled back, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area. The operation pulled back at around 15:00 hour on the same day with no result.

2- On 28 August in between 12:00-13:00 hours, the war planes belongs to the Turkish state army carried out air raids on and surrounding areas of the Village of Siyane/Gare/the Medya Defence Areas. As a result of this attack a fire began in the area, which still continues.

3- On 27 August at around 20:40 hour, the Turkish state army attempted to build up a military station in the Village of Ewina/Savur/Mardin. And, our guerrillas set up a bomb explosion. As a result, while the building greatly damaged, enemy soldiers fired around with no aim.

4- On 27 August, our guerrillas carried an action against the Jendarmeria Station in the Village of Esnebni/Midyat/Mardin. As a result of this action, 1 Village-guard killed and 4 others wounded by our guerrillas. Also, the positions of the Jendarmeria station in the enterance and other positions have been attacked with RPG and destroyed by our guerrillas. Aftermath of the action, the Turkish state army prohibited all exist and enterences to the area, and a military operation launched in the sense of search and ambushes, which still continues.
