TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 12th of August, 2010, in between 08:00-09:00 hours, the Turkish state army bombarded the area of Ware Kemal/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and tanks.

2- On 11th of August, 2010, at around 10:00 hours, our guerrillas carried an action against a military truck and a mountain Dear military vehicle belongs to the enemy in between the Siker Army station and Sereseve Brigade in the district of Cukurca/Hakkari. As a result of this action, 1 enemy soldier killed and both military vehicles have been damaged. Afterwards of the action, the Turkish state army bombarded the area with obus and mortars until late hours of the same night.

3- On 10th of August, 2010, our guerrillas carried an action against the entry of the Mawa army station in the district of Semdinli/Hakkari. The number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers could not be able to clerified. Afterwards of the action, the Turkish state army bombarded the Hills of Siro and Koordine/Hakurke, with obus and mortars. As a result of this bombardment, a fire began on the Hill of Koordine and still continues.

4- On 10th of August, 2010, at around 16:30 hours, our guerrillas carried an action against a privite vehicle, which departed from Kiwaxe army station/Idil/Sirnak, in between Idil/Sirnak-Midyat/Mardin. As a result, vehicle has been damaged, but the number of killed and wounded could not be able to clerified. On the same, at around 19:30 hours, our guerrillas carried an action against a Petrol pipe lines nearby the village of Kiwaxe in between the districts of Idil and Midyat and 200m far from the road. Before the action, our guerrillas blocaded the road to the civilian vehicles, due to pipe-line was close to the road, for civilians not to be affected from the blast. After the action, the road has been re-opened to the traffic again. As a result of the action the petrol pipe-line have had blown and a fire began. Also, there was a reports in the Turkish Media that two civilians have been killed as a result of the blast. This misinformation have been reported as a part of a special warfare. This report is not true what so ever. Those two civilians have lost their lifes as a result of a traffic accident.

5- On 9th of August, 2010, at around 20:30 hours, our guerrillas carried a road-blocage action in between Ovacik-Dersim. As a result, 35 vehicles have been stopped and a I.D. control made. Afterwards, the road has been blocked and ambushed. On 10th of August, at around 09:00 hours, enemy soldiers belongs to the Turkish state army came with civilian clothes and opened the one line of the road. Then the enemy came to the area with civilian vehicles and try to open the other part of the road as well. While the Turkish army air landed its soldiers in the areas of Venge and Peter/Ovacik, in mean time placed heavy weaponary in the area of Venge in order to destroy blokage on the road by bombarding it. The blockage couldn't be able to lifted until 15:30 by the Turkish state army an then left its hidden units in the area for search and ambush before left the area. On 11th of August, in morning hours, our guerrillas carried an action against scorcky type of military helicopters, which came to pick up the hidden enemy units stayed a day before. As a result of this action, a scorscy type helicopter have been damaged and the number of killed and wounded soldiers coul not be able to clerified.

6- On 9th of August, 2010, our guerrillas carried a assasination action against the enemy positioned on the Hill of Orta to secure the Sereseve Brigade/Cukurca/Hakkari. As a result, 1 enemy soldier killed by our guerrilla. After the action, the Turkish state army bombarded the area with obus and mortars.

7- On 8th of August, 2010, at around 13:00 hours, our guerrillas carried an assasination action against the enemy positioned on the Hill, which secure the Siker Army station/Cukurca/Hakkari. As a result, 1 enemy soldier killed by our guerrilla.

8- On 9th of August, 2010, in the morning hours, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area of Erbis/Cukurca/Hakkari. The operation pulled back night hours of 10th of August with no result. Afterwards of the operation, the Turkish state army time to time bombarding the area of operation with obus and mortars.

9- On 7th of August, 2010, at around 01:15am, the Sehit Marya YJA-STAR Action Team carried an action against police houses in the city of Tatvan. As a result, as it could be clerified, 2 policeman wounded. After this action, the Turkish army launched a military operation in the area.

10- On 11th of August, 2010, in between 11:00-15:00 hours, the Turkish state army bombarded the Valley of Betalma and the village of Haftanin/Haftanin/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars.
