TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1- Special Teams and soldiers wearing civilian clothes belongs to the Turkish state army launched a comprehensive military operation against the villages of Kirmecok, Baskent, Benzen, Mila Koxe and Geliye Gulik/Varto/Mus, in the morning hours of 17th of August, 2010. The military operation's scope extents while continues.
2- The Turkish state army launched a military operation with involvement of the Special Units, in the areas of Mile Siwara Bene and Mile Gunde Tiyare/Cukurca/Hakkari, on 16th of August, 2010. A clash has been occurred in between our guerrillas and the operational forces of the Turkish state army, who came to the guerrilla areas. As a result, 2 soldiers belongs to the enemy army have been killed by our guerrilla.
3- On 14th of August, 2010, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the areas of Kepe Miriska and Kevire Spi/Cukurca/Hakkari. The operation pulled back on the night hours of 16th of August, with no result. Also, While the military operation was continuing, the Turkish state army was bombarding the Hill of Kucuk Gare/Cukurca/Hakkari, with obus and mortars.
