TO THE PRESS AND THE PUBLIC

On the 24th and 25th October, 2009, as a result of an attack carried out by turkish state army with obus and mortars against the areas of Avasin, Basya, Dole Sive and Hergus/Zagros/Medya Defence Areas, one of our guerrilla named Dijwar (Naim Çakar) have been martyred.

Comrade Dijwar, have borned in 1991 in Malazgirt/Mus. He has been effected from his relatives who have had participated to the ranks of the guerrillas and fought as a leading fedaiis for the freedom movement and reach to martry. These martrys of the past gave a strength and left thrases within our comrade Dijwar. As aresult, while he was working on the demokratic actions during his civilian life, he decides to carry on this by participating to the guerrillas in the mountains and leaves his high school study. A mentality, which made him go through a life of conflict, and historically imposed an oppression for the sufferings of the kurdish people, percecution and genocide, he believed, alike thousands of our other youths to be in the mountains as to continue to struggle, the sacret and legitimate right to an armed struggle against it. After the decision he made, comrade Dijwar joins in our ranks as a guerilla on 1st June, 2008. After an education he receives in our areas, he joins the field work as a member of the battalion. Comrade Dijwar, to become a young fedayii militant of the his people, he adequately fulfilled the tasks given to him by his comrades. As HPG, we, his comrades, again promise him to uphold and continue the resistance struggle in the presence of our people.
