TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1-On 2 June at around 19:45 hour, our guerrillas carried out a Road Blockage action on the Road of Amed-Bingol. During the action, our guerrillas controlled the road, made I.D. check-ups and informative talks held with the people in about Democratic Autonomy. Also, our guerrillas arrested a tourist, and after necessary processes completed tourist have been released. Again, during the action a hand-pistol belongs to a civil servant have been confiscated and his vehicle burnt.

2-On 4 June at around 06:30 hour, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation by air-landing its forces under the support of cobra type helicopters on the areas of Korxe, Manisor and Hedik, in the district of Lice/Amed. As a result, two different clashes occurred in between our guerrillas and the operational forces of enemy. As a result of these both clashes, at least 5 soldiers killed, including the Major commander of the Jendarmerie in the district of Lice. The military operation in the area still continues.

3-On 3 June at around 14:30 hour, a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and operational enemy forces, whome were launched a military operation with civilian vehicles and cloths, in between Sere Seve Cannon Battalion and the district of Cukurca/Hakkari. As a result, 2 enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas.

4-On 3 June at around 15:00 hours, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the Hill of Hine/Cukurca/Hakkari.
